I need to change the oil in my Supra for the first time. I am at 25 hours and the shop cannot touch it till tuesday.

The 22SSV does not have 2 bilge plugs. It only has one in the rear.

I fished the drain hose out of it and the engine oil drained really slow (with dip stick out, and cap off)

Am I missing something or does it normally drain slow as poop?

Was the engine warm when you drived to drain it?

The hose off of the motor does not have alot of drop if you pull it out the back of the plug. The idea is to hook a pump up to that hose and pump out the oil, which is much faster.

Hope that helps

Chris, Have you tried a tempo oil extractor. It works great.

You just take the hose and put the dipstick hold and suck it out.

I think it took 10 pumps and it was all out.

Also the oil needs to be warm.
