Cold everywhere it seems. It's -7 (F) with 99% humidity here in northern Colorado at the moment. Looks like a lot of northern Texas is freezing

Bring on summer!! (Or at least bring some snow- it's been sooo dry!)

It's an ice rink here at my house. You need ice skates just to get around the neighborhood or else you risk falling! I echo Todd, wish it was snow!

We had snow, now it's +12C and raining...winter is confused and useless, wish it would just go away.

72 degrees today walking into the boat show with shorts and T-shirt. Yesterday, I couldn't stop sweating. It felt warmer than 75.

It's on it's way. Front passed through here this afternoon. Temp dropped from 70 degrees to 41 in 3 hours.

Here's what my wife's car looked like last night after driving around in the freezing rain we had.

That's solid ice, and my car which was sitting out all day yesterday until we got home last night looked like this when I finally got it in the garage.

I agree. Winter sucks a little more each year. I wonder what that means? Went to the denver boat show and it seemed to help.

It means you're getting older:| I lived in Alaska for many years and flew little airplanes all over the state. I never gave the cold that much thought. I used to fantasize that when I retired I would go back and do that again because it was the most fun job I ever had. Now I KNOW I'm never going to go do that again! I threw away my snow shovel and I'm not buying another one!

My brother, his wife and my sister all live and work in Steamboat. Apparently their pipes froze last night so they are melting snow so the animals have water and then going to see if their truck will start so they can get to work. Stay safe out there!

Clark. I used to spend a lot of time going thru clark on the way to seedhouse campground. Small world. Steamboat was different 35 years ago

Steamboat was very different 20 yrs ago, i can imagine 35. I guess those changes are what brought me to clark 10 yrs ago, doesn't hurt that Steamboat lake is just 5 min. from my house.

Had to run up to the lake today for my in laws because we have the only vehicle large enough to fit all four of their bar stools in one trip. Anyways, took a look and the lake is now frozen over and looks just as cold as what others have posted pics of.

Here's some pics of the stools in the truck...

And their new home!

The house was warm though so that helps a little but with the cold!

Well it is 13 here, 10 inches of snow on the ground. We have a couple big lakes that don't freeze up and I would go out in a hot second if I could get someone else to go also.

With a good heater, hot shower, and a couple of nice dry-suits it is a blast. I used to have a girlfriend who was up for about anything and we would regularly go out and wakeboard all winter. We were on the lake on Jan 1st once, a couple of her friends went with us, and the locals called the sheriff. They actually put their boat in the water and came out to check on us. They thought we were drinking or something, could not believe we were just out wakeboarding.

I took her picture for her high school year book. She was wearing only a bikini, doing a big air wake to wake with a toe grab, ice hanging off the tow rope, and blanket of 3 feet of snow along the shoreline in the background. Good times.....

We had a lot of snow between Christmas and new years, now it is all gone and we have a lot of mud. Try running 30 horses on mushy ground. I would rather it stay froze. Today it is supposed to get to 48 and by Tuesday the high will be 7 degrees.

still not enough snow for snowmobiling and to much for boating.
