I have a few screws that holds down the driver seat to the floor that are stripped.
Is there a filler or epoxy I can put in the hole then drive a screw in it after it hardens.

Thanks,

Finman

There's an epoxy product called Marine Tex - it bonds to wood and once it sets it will hold your screws in place. You may want to pre-drill to make them go in easier.

I had a few seat screws on my 86 that I thought were stripped. I pulled the seat and found the wood to be rotted. I cut away rotten wood and found rotten stringers. Depending on the year of your boat I will pull seat and check wood. That could be the start of the problem. I hope in your case it is just a stripped screw b/c next winter I am getting the entire floor and stringers redone......

its a 2002 Supra so I was under the assumption it was a no wood boat.
I am going to go up 1 size screw and put some epoxy in before I screw it in.

Your correct, no wood... but it is an aluminum floor which does strip easily. Ive used 3M 5200 marine sealant before and it works great; good luck

Another great fix is to install a metal plate in place of the two steel runners. Heres a great link to one I used:
