I had my windows tinted while the boat was at the dealer getting winterized. Mainly because I knew they would take out the windshield, and reinstall it correctly.

They did a pretty good job, but i still got a few bubbles.

I asked for 20% like they had done on their boats for the boat show, and I got it back and it doesn't seem very dark to me.

This picture is kind of hard to tell as it was at sunset, so the reflections on the main part of the glass make it seem darker. ]

However, if you look thought the side glass and the trees behind it. It sure doesn't look very dark.

Any thoughts or pics of boats that were done at 20% to compare to? I don't have a police officer handy to measure it, and dont want to cause a stir if I am dead wrong.

Thanks,

My truck with 20% for comparison...

I got pulled over by a state trooper and he said it is technically 18%. Yours looks a little light to me (but still looks good!).

Mine is 30% and looks to be about the same as yours. However, hard to compare because a vehicle has a roof to bock the sun and a boat is like a convertible car with the windshield tinted. The more windows you have in a SUV type vehicle the darker it looks. I would say yours is either 20% or 30%.

Here is a pic of mine from the front:

and from the side:

I would guess that these were both taken about the same time of day.
