Well I had purchased a 2011 Dodge Challenger for my daughter a little over a year ago. Thanks to Progressive Snap Shot found out she has a lead foot. 115 mph. So told her we were selling it and buying another truck. Was going to get a newer one, but this one appeared on Craigslist and was dirt cheap for a Cummins Turbo. And she liked it. So instead of a payment, we were able to pay cash. Runs great and is in good shape. http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff460/gogger/20130306_163837_zpsd78c9db8.jpg

So is this a new tow truck for you, or transportation for your daughter? Or both?

Well it will probably be a little of both. At least we now have to decent tow vehicles. She can pull the horse trailer with one, and I can pull the Pirata with the other.

115mph? WOW, I have an 18 yr old boy and a 17 yr old girl.....it seems you handled it way better than I would. My 18yr(senior) just got his first ticket last weekend at 15mph over speed limit.....ha and I chewed his ass out. I am amazed they let her keep her license and didn't take her straight to jail. I know when I was in my early 20's that's what they did to me. Nice tow vehicle though!

Well she is 19. And she didn't get caught by the police. Progressive Insurance offers snapshot which will monitor your driving. You can go on line and see how your doing. So it showed up she was going really fast. If the cops caught her she would have went straight to jail. I am glad that they didn't have that when I was young.

So, what you're saying is, you know where she got the thrill seeking speed demon genome from?

Yeah, and I own two vehicles each with 400+ horsepower. 115 mph seems like practice speed to me. I hope On-Star is sending PMs to the wife or my insurance company. :)

What are you talking about? You live in Atlanta where people wait on the freeway for hours and go to the Atlanta speedway to see what speed is really supposed to look like.

Well her boyfriend was with her and told what road they were on. 115 was good for that road. And yea I know where she gets it. When I waz 19 I built a street stock car and was racing every saturday night at tbe local round track. Then I would take my harley to the drag strip and bracket race. Didnt do too much on the road. Nowadays I worry too much about libility and losing my stuff because the cars in my name.

Fastest I ever have been was on a GSXR 1100 on a country road 155mph that was plenty for me.
