Location for Jabsco Pumps

I'm getting rid of the sprinkler valves and mounting Jabsco OR Johnson Pumps.

I have the steps and cooler behind the driver's seat

Where is you mounting them?

Mine are located on the port side at the rear of the stern storage compartment..........as with all S.C. boats.......now saying this, maybe they did this to even out the driver side weight issue , however i think the starboard side would be better as then the 1100 lb sac would be further back ......but probably a moot point in reality when we have 3000lbs of water in the boat
