2012 tower question

Does the tower collapse easy on the 242 or s22 launch? I have a 10ft in height garage door and if the tower can collapse without loosing screws I might be in for a new boat. I currently own 2008 21v Launch. Love the boat but would like to have more room for kids and friends.

Depends on which tower option you go with on the 2012. I believe you had a choice between the Progressive and the S-bend. The Progressive is harder to lower than the S-Bend since it uses screws, the S-bend only has two handles to turn and then it lowers on a pulley system that is almost weightless to lower. If you're looking for the easier tower to put down then go with the S-bend.

Agreed, our 242 has the S-Bend and it is easy as it can be to lower or raise.
