started buffing my saltare today

So i thought i was gonna have to wetsand the old girl but after using a 9 inch buffing wheel on a grinder and some heavy duty rubbing compound i was pleased to discover that she is blue and not a chalky baby blue. so far i have only done from the rub rail to the bottom of the blue gel coat and after 6 hrs i was already through the glaze part. as soon as i can pull her out of the shop i'll post outside pictures. If i pull her out to soon i'll be to tempted to get in her and that will just get mud everywhere.

only problem with getting her all shiny is the scratches and chips are really noticeable now. been fun though. now i have to be patient and wait a month and a half:mad:

Perhaps thats programed in the tuner for the first set of the season. By the way colour looks great but you will find yourself back polishing again before long. There is something about blue, water and the sun which makes things hard to keep up.

I'm not usually a fan of boat names but this one struck me and i don't want a ghost supra freak on the back of my boat.....I have no idea as to how long it has been there. Not sure if you noticed but that's clint eastwood on the transom aswell. had to keep that. By the way I've only owned the boat since september.

I'm not usually a fan of boat names on ski boats for sure. You can't "not" have one on a bigger cruiser. But if you're going to name a ski boat, that's a good one. And yes Daniel, that song was playing through my mind. Love it.
