That's some impressive interior work. Nice.

Boat looks like it's coming along well. Any plans to wetsand it?

is this a 90's model? some colors i haven't seen before.

there's a thread on wakeworld with some badass looking polymer/sealant (Hula Polymer Sealant). i have a wetsanding in my future too...

Yea it's a 91... I wanted to change up the colors to make it a little more modern. But yea I just watched some YouTube videos on sewing and went for it. Never sewed before in my life. Anyone can to it just get drunk and start tearing the seats apart haha. Just one tip to save you lots of time fixing mess ups....don't sew drunk. And that hula stuff looks like some good stuff

So I do have a question for the stereo buffs out there..I'm putting in a 600 watt amp for the speakers and a 500 watt amp for the sub I got good speakers and a nice sub...my question is do I have to run two batteries or a bigger alternator or a switch on the batteries? Help! Lol

Impulse model. Kind of like the Esprit. They had a little more different color patterns than normal.

yea haugy the impulse had the pink and purple interior I changed it all up even got rid of that pink stripe down the middle of the dog house and embrodered the new supra logo and stars....im telling what though i would do it again in a heart beat if i got anouther boat with rough interior. yea kevin im a carpenter by trade and have no busness being behind a sewing machine lol u just have to commit once you tear off that first piece. :p

I would run a second battery for sure, you'll want the extra reserve for sitting and listening. Run an isolator to keep the aux battery from draining the starting battery. Easy as it can be.

yea copy that.....i just got done installing everything yesterday and thats what i did.turned out pretty nice....i mounted all the amps and power blocks and switch up on the wall so it didn't take any storage space away.

What was your material cost for the interior? Regular sewing machine? Youtube links?

Alexoag

around $600...thats including all the welting, and hide-a-staple, thread, staples, button covers, material.....now i did have to buy a fine wire staple gun for 150 but im sure it will make its money back one day. i was able to reuse the foam i just steamed it to bring it back to life. and the embrodery on the dog house was 200 alone but i saved myself 100 on that by making the design myself and having it on a USB drive for the guy so he didnt have to mess with it.

i used a 1974 kennmore sewing maching nothing special..just make sure it has a "walking foot"........ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBLzLdivsd0 ...........these guys tought me the most...i just spent all night watching their videos and by the end of it i was pretty confident on starting in on the project and ordering the material.
