My brother-in-law recently purchased a 2008 launch 22 SSV or something like that.

Nobody in our family are professional wake Borders in fact we are far from it. However we do like to try kill ourselves :-)

So with that in mind how do you all set up your boats for maximum wake and maximum towing speed and maximum rope length?

I would probably start with bow full, wake plate 75-100% to the right. 22'ish mph at 65 to 75ft.

play with the rear weight to add some size. speed and length are kinda rider preference. Typical is 21 to 24 mph and 65 to 80ft.

What KG said. You want to kill yourself? Get as much ballast + people in your boat, shoot for about 3500-4000lbs. Set your rope to 80ft and go 24mph. Use the wake plate to smooth out the lip. That should make you eat a piece of humble pie! ;)
