Boat hit tree. Boat was not put in water for 7 years until the last two weeks. I put electronic ignition in it. It runs great and great oil pressure. Have videos skiing yesterday. Parting out will be logistically and manually to much; so I am selling the whole thing for $2500 with trailerl. located in crestview west of panama city. can be seen at okaloosa florida craigs list: supra boat parts 454 motor and trailer

This is my boats (and TitanTNs) sister boat. Same red/white top cap and same trailer that I have. Sad day!!

I have always loved the rear bench seat/couch in the back of those boats. Mine is straight across....I wonder that cost would be to ship up to Atlanta(if they are in good shape). Although I will be down in Panama City next month for a baseball tournement....hmmm so many thoughts. Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to sell the bench seat and the sunpad? PM me what your looking to get out of them if you dont mind.

Im thinken 1500 for engine and 2k for both. They would need nothing but bolting in. I was loving the perfect running engine that started like bam and idled great and had no hesitation. damn I cant tell you how I feel. I took my time (which I dont always do) and preped boat at home and then took it on test drives with the cover off evaluating it to get ready to teach our new adopted children how to ski. this was my final test drive and we were all going out on saturday. I also have videos with sound of it pulling me up on the skiis

The pictures posted on this thread and my pics are from different servers. It seems like your internet security settings might be so strict that they're not letting in data from these servers. See if you can adjust your security settings or "approve" the domain names hosting these images and it should show them for you.

Question to those of experience. I loved that boat more than I thought I would have. to replace I am finding about 12k numbers. Can this be fixed and how much to do it. the pics are on this site as many of you know "86 supra" or on Craigs list at "supra boat parts 454 motor and trailer" in Okaloosa florida. I do not know how to link.

Myself I would hold onto yours for a while untill you decide which way you are going with the next boat. I would be in the market for a Supra which was winterised incorectly with a cracked block. They will be listed in the upcomming weeks when the boats start hitting the water. Putting a big block into a 92 and up composite would be killer.

i was thinking you might be able to repair, can you post some pics of the actual damage of the hull and maybe we can get a better idea of what can be done.

In order to post pics they need to be online some where like photobucket or facebook. Then copy the image url. type this, then paste the url and type there can't be any spaces. and should look something like this place your url hear

Personally, I think you're looking at an organ donor at this point in time. Like some others have said, look for a donor hull and top cap and go from there. If I'm not mistaken, the hull right by the helm was where the tree impacted the hull and took the brunt of the damage correct?

Wow...I can't see that being a repair worth paying for. I have to imagine the fiberglass repair alone nevermind painting would push this way out of reasonable.

Sad sight.

Yes correct. I guess I will sell the whole thing for 2500 or wait until someone else does the same and buy theirs. I just like the boat

Got some more pics of the boat:

And to answer your question, I'd be amazed if a fiberglass guy can redo that hull and still be under the cost of what a replacement boat would cost.

I would be interested in the side window pieces that allow you to open and close the windows--the black sliders and brackets.
PM me if parting these out please.

I don't remember reading how it actually happened. I know it hit a tree, but how did it come off the ball? I'm guessing the safety chains weren't hooked to your truck? Man that looks like a hard ass hit. So sorry for your loss!

Wow, that makes me a little sick to the stomach. A long time ago I had an older boat with a much older trailer. It came off the ball once while I was driving on the freeway. Luckily, the safety chains kept it from making a complete departure into traffic. Still a horrifying experience I can't imagine how that must have felt. My condolences.

Hello, Does the boat still have the motor and tranny? Does it still have the driveshaft, prop, and rudder? What kind of shape is the trailer in? I am looking for a trailer to restore while my '88 Saltare sits on it's current trailer. Please give me a shout, I may be interested in the whole package. Thank you, -Bob D. (630) 392-4376

I'd really like the turnbuckles and the braket that bolts the rub rail together in back. That really is heartbreaking to see one of those giants go down..

You honestly can make more parting that saltare out. You have A LOT of hard to find items sitting there. Just saying...
