What size pylon?

I'm looking to add an extended pylon to my 91 pirata. Do I need a 3" or 2 1/2"? My pylon is white with a slight taper towards the top. Found one for a deal locally, but am not sure it will fit. Any one know what size I need?

2 1/2 is pretty standard. I have a Barefoot International Fly High pole with wakeboard racks I'll be selling soon if you're interested.
