My turn for vapor lock

Took the boat out today after work for a evening cruise and ran around for a bit with the fam and shut down to float for awhile. It was mid 80's and humid. When I went to start no luck. Looked up vapor lock online and put some cold water on the fuel pump and started it right up. Thank goodness for the iPhone.
I've read a bunch of old posts on this forum and the moomba forum. Just curious what the current best approach is for a 2007 22 ssv with the 325.

From what I have read about the issue the fix is an additional fuel pump close to the tank allowing the fuel to push though the vapor stuck in the primary pump next to the engine.

I've had the same issue in my '06 21V several years ago. This fixed he problem....change your fuel filter every year, use mid grade gas and always use a fuel stabilizer for ethanol in every tank full. Has never locked up again and a lot cheaper than an additional fuel pump!
