Adding a water separating fuel filter....

Anyone have any thoughts on adding a water separating fuel filter to help fight this ethanol thing. I change my fuel filter now every year. I have a 2006 21V and have had vapor lock issues in the past due to ethanol breaking down the fuel filter.

I don't have any ethanol issues. Boat runs on E10 most of the seasons but gets straight gas, the real stuff with MTBE shipped down from Canada when I'm on vacation at the lake. I notice no difference in how it runs or starts and have never had any filter issues or problems with water. I did add a new style canister water separating filter last season to replace the crusty old original filter and for quicker filter changes. Good to have, but not really a big deal in my mind.
