I have a 2004 Supra SSV. I noticed the gel/fiberglass has a small crack in it on the side of the boat. It's a small crack but it seems like water may be able to enter. I am planning on fixing the fiberglass and gel soon but I am wondering if water was able to get in there could I trap it by fixing the repair? Does that area connect to the main bilge which would be able to empty? It does seem the boat has been a little heavier on that side, but that's pretty subjective evidence.
If so any recommendations on how to get the water out of there before fixing?
