1997 Supra Comp Classic which means it's an all fiberglass boat, but with the traditional styling of the original comps.

I wish I could pick this up right now. I would in a heartbeat.

That's not a 97, maybe an 87. You can tell by the winshield and ive owned a black one just like it. Outside looks clean but a little pricy at 11K.

Supra did a classic looking Comp with the new bones of an all composite structure... It will look like an older Pre-92 Comp but in fact it does not have any of the issues associated with wood stringers.

What Jetlink responded with is right on the money. You are right, it looks like the older style, but it is newer. Thus the "Comp Classic". They are extremely rare, and for a die-hard like me they are ideal. I'd love to get this, but it's too much money for my blood. All the cool original styling, but all fiberglass. If someone was looking for a Comp, this would be very high on the list.

Wow didn't realize that, sorry for the confusion.

No worries. Happens often. I have a 96 Comp Classic. Fiberglass stringers. We've rebuilt it with new interior, electronics, 2011 Boatmate tandem trailer, factory tower, etc. Had the pleasure of the opposite observation: A customer came into the dealership while I was picking up a rope and he said "I've been looking for a new competition ski tow. Didnt know Supra started making the Comp again." With a big smile I told him the boat is 16 years old. No new Comps. Probably never will be. The boat advertised here is about as clean as you'll find. Hope it finds a good owner!!!
