Hi all, spent all last summer bringing this boat back form the dead. Finally worked out all the bugs and it looks like I'll be having a great summer this year. Hope these pics download, I'm not very computer savvy.

Looks sharp! I went ahead and combined all four of your threads into one single thread for cleanliness and ease going forward.

What wood did you use? and I noticed it's not glassed.... What did you spray on it. I actually thought when I do my stringers I might Line-x the stringers.

Hey beautiful Job! Love the colors and dash. Really cool!

will have on water pics later, just need to get some good ones.
the wood for the stringers is called kaya. has same characteristics as mahogany. sometimes they call it African mahogany. its straight, flexible, no knots and rot resistant. its pricey though. I didn't take pics of it wrapped in glass before I sprayed it with epoxy, but I think that glassing is probably necessary.

Wow...that looks amazing...I may have to steal your paint design but use different colours!

Ok so...how much for the whole process including boat purchase.

wow thanks for the compliments guys...
lets see I probably have around 15k in the rebuild but I owned the boat for a long time so I dont count that. thats me doing all labor except seat covers and the only parts used over were the hull, transmission, windshield, steering and throttle. every thing else is either brand new or I made it.

WOW! That is a thorough rebuild! What did you use for the exterior? Wrap, paint, gelcoat?

Great rebuild and congrats on the new boat. Seems almost a shame to cover all those beautiful stringers. I might of opted for a clear poly floor so everyone could admire you wood working skills while on the lake.

Can you guess what I am ???? Every non-composite owner owns this or will use this ......
