I have a 91 Marauder with PCM 454. I ran it in the driveway this spring after dewinterizing it and rebuilding the carb. Ran fine. Put it in the water and the water pump broke after about 3 minutes. The snap ring on.the shaft broke and the woodruff key fell out. Fortunately I caught it within a couple of minutes and shut it down. I put in a new pump and boat is running fine but once it is on the lift water runs out of the left exhaust for a while. When I put it in the wanted I hear bubbling in the same exhaust. Any ideas. Could a bad flapper cause this. I don't think the two problems are related but they both happened around the same time.
