comp dash switches

I have a question about the push button switches on the dash of my comp. Are they actually breakers? The reason I ask is that my bridge pump doesn't want to come on now. It did last time I fooled with the boat a week or two ago. Now when i press the button manual or auto, they won't stay depressed.

What year Comp do you have? On mine they are switch breakers.

It's a 1989.

Then yeah, those are switch breakers. They do fail after time as they get worn out from use.

It will be a few days at best before I get my office up and running again. I think I have the info on my desk top computer which is still sitting in a box in my dining room from the move. The original company went bankrupt but there's an outfit in Germany I believe that makes them and that's where I got mine.
