My father and I just went in on a 2000 launch DD with the 5.7 Indmar assault. We tested it out with the seller and took it out a couple of times on our own and it ran perfect. Being new to us we took it to our Supra retailer to get some yearly maintenance done. Since then the boat will run for about 20 min and will bog out and die. The water separator seal/ O-ring, whatever you want to call it, was split and I believe the fuel system was vapor locked. The water separator was replaced but we are still having issues. Our retailer said that our low pressure lift pump was dead. A new one was installed and the same problem. Since then we have put 2 more low pressure fuel pumps in it. I saw a thread earlier today about a boat having the same issue. The author only stated that the fuel pump was replaced and it worked. My question is could the High pressure fuel pump be acting up? Any help would be appreciated!!
