The PO painted my Teak red. Is it toast now or can I use paint stripper to get it off without ruining it?

Your a buckeye fan, just paint a few things grey and you will be ready to go.

I just recently refinished some old wood work on my other boat. I didnt use strippers, although it might have made it easier, i just used a high grit sandpaper and once I sanded down to the wood I used a lesser grit to make a smoother finish. After I applied my choice of stain I used a clear gloss indoor/outdoor finish from Helmsman (got a can at walmart for just under 9 bucks). The stuff comes in spray or brush form. For small jobs I use the spray can. I am about to refinish a small part of my 90 Supra Comp TS6M. I'm new here so Ill post some pictures to validate my claims if that helps. These pics are not of a supra but good example of wood work and how it can come out.

its alot more work probably than stripping it, but I sand it to the wood, re stain, then apply a seal and protectant. Did this yesterday, turned out pretty good.
