Release date should be near the end of the month. Got a big summer special for dealers rolling out with $3,000 discount to make room for the SC. So we will be sending pics out steadily for the next 2 weeks.

The SA and SC are two different boats. I was able to see one this week and WOW. I cannot wait to share my review with the world once they have been released.

What I don't understand is that back when Moomba first came out they were very different boats from Supra. They had their own style and were a great price point boat.

Now they look exactly like the Supras and are not very price point. So what's the point? With Malibu and Axis not only is there a major price difference, but their is a huge design difference.

Honestly it looks like Supra is suffering from market cannibalization.

The Mondo looks like an awesome boat - very well done by Skiers Choice.

Can't wait to see it in person - but so far the intro video hit a home run.

Since we are waiting for the SC we can discuss the Mondo for a minute I suppose. I really think Shane hit a home run here. The wake and wave this thing puts out is going to change people's minds about owning a sub 21' boat and surfing. The Moomba wash appears to be gone. My guess is pricing will be in the low $50k range, that is definitely value pricing and confirms Moombas commitment to building an affordable boat. The styling is the best I have seen from Moomba, especially the graphics package. I see something all new here, not a copy or rip off. Compared to what they were building ten years ago the new Moomba's are in an entirely different league, yet very affordable. I have no reservations that the Mondo will be a huge success. People who never considered a Moomba before will be buying them.

this is an interesting boat. i'm not a fan of the nose but whatever. i like that SC is shooting at a segment most others aren't. i think that's smart and the boat looks to be well thought out.

i wish the new supras weren't so reminiscent of so many other boats on the market. the 242 is one sexy boat. i'm guessing it will be a short-lived model. i think there's room for it though. in a world of pickles it's a real head turner and something the others aren't doing.

The Mondo to me looks like a smaller improved version of the Mojo and i think they hit a home run on it. Is it for me? No, simply due to the fact that my LSV seems to small. Our next boat will have to be 22' minimum and I really hope some of the Mondo features are carried over to the Mojo.

The SA is my dream boat, like my Ferarri Enzo, I was lucky enough to demo one and I fell in love with just about every aspect of it. Maybe in a few years I can pick up a used one at a value if the price is right. The new SC looks pretty awesome as well, but again a little small for me personally.

Step back from the Moomba owner mentality and look at them again, and then look at them when they first came out........And then look at the last 6 years of those boats. If you still can't see that they share strong designing cues, well there isn't much else for me to say about it. Almost all the boats now are sharing designs and styles that seem to suit the general public. The only difference is, they aren't the same company. Axis and Malibu are the only ones other than SC that have two brands, thus the reference.

And I never said Axis was more value than a Moomba. I don't know what your concern is with that, but I never said that.

And I could pick up an Axis right now, for around $45k. Even having the choice of three, and they aren't stripped down. They are out there.
