Just made arrangements to have the '14 Roswell Aviator tower installed on my "new to me" 21v. This is the sickest after-market tower ever with all of the quality and cutting edge design Roswell provides. Looks very similar to Correct Craft Air Nautiques 230 tower with cam latch release and weightless folding system. Also settled on some new Vamp spin pros, C6 light bar and new cutting edge Roswell amps to drive new Roswell Marine Audio in-boat speakers. No head unit required! Bluetooth on-board amp board so everyone with an iPhone can play DJ. Can't wait...photos to come next week

SOrry boys...the tower is actually officially "under wraps" until August 1st. I am blessed to be able to be the first in Canada to have one, but had to vow not to reveal before official launch date. The prez of the company is a buddy and I want to keep it that way. I have seen pics of it mounted on a 2013 Moomba MoJo and I can tell you that it is the best rig I have ever seen on a wake boat. I will give you the full low-down once it hits water in Oroville on the 1st. Patience boys.....patience.

What's the aviator tower look like? I'm dying to see this!

12668Looks a lot like the FCT3 tower that Roswell makes for Correct Craft and Supra (on the 2011 and on models). Just much sharper lines and, what I think anyway is a cleaner look. It is forward folding with a cam latch and weightless sytem (lower it with 2 fingers). The bimini is hard cage with a walk-through section that zips out. You have the option to attach any of the current speaker line-up to the tower including the Horn series, Vamps or the fantastic new mega-speaker, the Neptune. Here's a shot of a 2012 Supra with the FCT tower mounted with a couple of horns and vamps. Aviator is similar but not so curvy - I like it a LOT better.

You're new here aren't you?

Well shoot up some pics of the current boat that it's going on. We can see that can't we? It would be nice to have some before AND after pics.

Obviously. 3 posts. He doesn't know this crowd yet at all.

I hope it looks a lot better than the one on that Supra in the pic. I've seen prettier deer stands than that tower.

I bow down to the 1,000+ posters....clearly the "Yoda's" of the forum. Yeah...this photo does not show the FCT in the best possible way. It is a bit utilitarian as it is set up with extra racks as this one is the training boat for the Roswell Team Riders in Cocoa Florida. This one is a bit better showing bimini and the cut of the tower.

New towers make all the difference in looks. Plus they don't block the drivers view. Here is a Roswell fct3 on a 1998 nautique. Looks sick. Can't wait to see your supra. 12673

That's awesome! Now you just need to trick it out with Roswell Marine Audio and the slick bimini. It already looks like a new boat - not a '98. I am very anxious to see it myself. Went by the shop last night and stage 1 is in progress...old Rad-a-Cage is off and holes have been repaired. Right now she's naked!!

I will have a bunch of "stuff" for sale shortly so stay tuned....

LOL not my nautique but I agree with you. some racks, audio and bimini would make it even better. I'm a supra owner, 1990 Conbrio.

Done.....eh? I even know where Oyama is...headed to Osoyoos in three more sleeps for 2 wks of sun, surf and play on the water with the new tricked out 21v. Coming down through Kamloops and Merrit so will miss your fine town. Are "Alberta dollars" still trading at par?? Three more sleeps...three more sleeps....

weather is awesome----32 to 38 celcius and lakes are flat as no wind this past week.
doesnt seem to be quite as many boats on the water this year--economy perhaps so enjoy your time in Osoyoos!

So....picking up the rig this afternoon. I have a photo of it as it is being hauled in for the audio work and will check with Roswell to see if I can post/release. They have been pretty insistent that release date to media is Aug 1st, but will see what I can do........

I bet that would be stronger than some of the factory towers boat manufacturers used in the past.

Got all the pics but can't seem to figure out how to post from my iPad. Also have video going under bridge with quick cam latch release and weightless fold. The set up is FANTASTIC. Any recommendations for posting from iPad?

A couple more. Very slick swivel rack mounts that are integrated into the tower. Also, single hole on the inside of the tower mount is for a handle for cam lock release and weightless folding. Is available for ANY RIG as this is now the Roswell universal tower.

That is exactly the response around the Marina. Lots of surprise that it is an '06. I do love it! Not a single rattle or squeak and we have been running hard every day during our vacay in Oroville.

A few more pics. Swapped out the stock audio with RMA speakers and amps. Sound is crystal clear and loud! Also a shot of the cam lock in action. Folding is a one man job!12872128731287412875

Just talked to an '07 21v owner who couldn't believe that my rig is a '06. Thought it was a '10 or '11. The Aviator makes a huge difference!12879

Looks to be the one they use on the Sa and SC... rumor has it as one of the strongest towers available today!

I would not mind upgrading to that tower and I have an '11 21V with the progressive tower. I would definitely say that your upgrade was a gamechanger, congrats.

I think it looks pretty cool. I have to admit being a little shocked at the price though.

I don't know. $2,700 seems reasonable for all of the technology it includes.

Price is such an individual affair. I don't think I would be able to overcome the fact that it cost more than half what I paid for my boat. Your situation looks to be much different. Reasonable is in the eye of the beholder. If you can afford it and it does what you want it to do and it looks cool and makes you glad you bought it, you got a good deal. Enjoy!

Thought I might like it, but something about it just doesn't look good to me. But that's my opinion.

Looked at it a few times and couldn't say yay or nay on the tower. Perhaps it is the angle but personally it doesn't add much prestige to the older ride. Yes it looks more modern but there is something about the flow which isn't tickling my fancy....

Take a picture from the port side and lets see the true angle of the tower wrt the windshield and lines of the cap. I do give you credit for trying something different on the older boat tho.

The Bimini will impact the flow. I will post a pic as soon as I get mine. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - no doubt about it. But after having the old "Rad-a-Cage" on the rig, the roominess, sight lines and functional convenience blows that old tube mess away. Again - just my perspective. Thanks for your input guys!
