Classic 1992 Comp

Hey, you guys said you have yet to see a 1992 Supra Comp Classic with old windshield and teak platform instead of new windshield and fiberglass deck.

Not a fan of the tower and green stripe. I would like to see the 3-4 foot wave it puts out with 2 fat sacks. Good price for a 92.

Yeah, 3-4 feet huh? Heck, when I sacked my boat out at 1500lbs of water ballast plus a few extra people it probably wasn't greater than a 2 foot wave.

There were some barebones comps in 1991/1992 with the old windshield and wood stringers and called them the impulse. It's also possible that the one in the link is not a 1992...see that all the time.

Yep, they still had them like that in 1992. The question I had (directed to the OP) was that supposedly they had a few round windshields that came out with wood. But I have yet to see one, so I'm still going with myth. But possible.

But on that one, I'd check the vin, last two numbers will tell you what year.
