I have a throttle question that maybe you guys will be able to answer. It seems like at the beginning of the season I did not have to move the throttle as far forward to get the RPM's up(like when pulling someone out of the water). Now it feels like I have to push the throttle forward quite a bit more to get the same power out of the engine. Almost like the cable is not as tight as it was. Is there something I can do to the perfect pass servo motor where the cable connects to tighten this back up or is it just time for a new cable. Its on an 05 22ssv. Thanks for any help.

Make sure your servo motor is self winding when you key on. It should suck In all the cable and twitch a little. Of not than you have a problem with perfect pass.
