Just took my '03 Launch SSV out of storage. It's been there for a year and a half. Put sea foam and 5 gallons of gas in it. Clean up the boat and took it to the lake. Engine starts just fine but will only run for 30secs and then chokes down and dies.
I have to wait about 1 minute before it will crank again, but the boat still will only run for 30 secs and die. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

sounds like a fuel issue. I would start with the fuel filter.

Anyone know what type of fuel filter I need?

Fuel issue for sure. I would get some gas line antifreeze, add it to the tank and fill with 92+ octane. Five gallons might not be enough to keep the boat running if the fuel level is very low to start out with. As for the fuel filter, record the number and bring it into cross reference at the local auto parts store.

If there is still issues time to get a reading of fuel pressures on the high side of the pump.

shorter runs will solve you problem but that would get old quick.

Sounds like the fuel filter to me. Probably has a buildup and when it gets pressure it fills with crap and chokes out the engine. Change the filter and drain out the old gas. Unless you're running ethanol free the gas probably separated from sitting too long.

Use some isoheat and change the fuel water separator/ fuel filter. And fill the tank half full that way if you have to drain it all its not 30+ gallons.
