can someone give me an idea of how i can run my motor on a hose, ie out of the water.

You must have a water inlet in the hull. Buy a fake-a-lake - here is an example - http://www.overtons.com/cgi-bin/overtons/order/pdetail.cgi?32740++. I use this with my SSV.
If you have a T-fitting in the inlet hose in the engine compartment, you can couple the hosepipe direct to the T. Upside is you don't have to climb under the boat.

When installing or using the in-line "T" flush method, be sure it is installed b4 the tranny cooler, this will keep trans fluid from getting to hot and breaking down its viscosity, the pump is always running fluid, even when in idle.Brian Raymond
Inlet leads to filter then to engine. I undue clamp here remove one portion of hose from filter( portion running towards water pump) insert and clamp hose. run water slowly up. start engine watch temp etc. Works like a charm.
