My rub rail is shot and I want to replace it. I don't want to do it in 12' sections, what did you guys use and do you have pics? I think the black Vinyl 50ft one from Taco is the only choice...but what size do I use and do I silicone it on the bottom like OEM? let me know, thanks!

What is it going on?

I called Skiers Choice and got the part number for the OEM one for my '86 Salt and ordered it from a Dealer. I think I paid under 200 for it all shipped.

Going on my 86 Sunsport after the restoration. I'm not sure how to get a 30' piece of aluminum home without damage. Not to mention trying to bend it and have it look good when done. It will be one of the last things to do before the end of the project so I have plenty of time to research it! So did the dealer install for you?

the factory rub rail on mine was just plastic with a rubber insert. it came in a roll. Even the plastic. I installed it myself. Give them a call and see what they want for it.

I upgraded to the stainless steel one. Came shipped via freight. $395 was the price and I paid less than $100 for shipping. The black plastic one was $275. I think it was worth the upgrade.

jasun, do you have a pic of it installed on your boat? So it was an OEM Supra part #?

Yes it was an OEM part number Skiiers Choice gave me and I ordered it through a Dealer. SC told me how much I would need of both.

Paid 177.92 shipped from Pro Wake Watersports in North Webster Indiana

That is the best pic I have of it. Sorry
