For those of us already counting the days until March or the first day chasing buoys or just slaying some glassy water. . . feel free to post vids or links here to keep us from going crazy. Although not Supra. .here is one I found that I liked.

Hey the water in that vid is beautiful. Any idea where it is?

I believe it is Green Lake, BC. Looks pretty shallow in the video. I'm still looking for a video posted by MC boats that had a funny "Grumpy Man Winter" dreaming of swerving in the summertime. I just can't find it.

That is a cool vid! Now I know what to ask for from Santa! Better ability! No, a GoPro and better ability. We're still skiing here in Virginia. Yes, Virginia. Having a nuclear power plant heat the water helps... and a dry suit. Water temp 60-70. Air temp 40. Driver gets colder than the skier!

I wish I had known that, I would have driven a little further up 95 with my ski in tow this past weekend. Ha Ha

My folks live in Powhatan, VA and I went up to see them yesterday. I've pulled my boat and the ski course for the year. Just kills me to do it.

These are from a friend of mine @ Coble Ski School. Toby made these of the '13 season at the School Camp here in Lillington, NC where Chris / April Coble-Eller coach. Great bunch of people.

Here's a video of my buddy and I skiing on his lunch break last week. Riding an old Jobe that was handed down to me by my father in law. Think the ski is over 40 years old. Still teaching myself how to progress.

Is that an old Jobe honeycomb?

Now that I can watch your skiing instead of driving lol, from what I can see is you are doing the same thing I am working on and that is staying on edge at the wake. You were flattening out which I understand makes the wake harder to cross. Other than that cool video!

You're not putting enough pressure on the front foot. That's why your bouncing over the wake. When you make your turn press down with your front foot and lean back. That will keep the ski in the water and keep your momentum going towards your next turn. Also pull the handle towards your waist not your shoulders. I have them same problems it's the curse of free skiing. You'll be amazed at the speed you pick up.

I had never been on a ski before, always boarded or skated. One of my buddies mainly runs the course and a few weeks ago I didn't feel like filling the sacks so I decided to try the plank. I wish I tried it sooner! this stuff is fun! I made it around the 3rd buoy and started laughing so hard I forgot to go for the 4th haha!
