Windshield Modificaiton

I am new to the forum and to Supra's... I have an 85 Sunsport.
I have been looking around and I like the lower profile windshields on the older comp boat better than what I have...

Question is... Will they interchange?

Well I got the motor running and it sounds great!
I removed most of the wood trim around the back of the boat and it really updates the look. Next to reupholster the interior! I have a guy coming over now to take a look at it.

Debating recarpeting vs other flooring options.
Also thinking about building in a proper observation seat rather than the Academy seat that was scabbed in there.

I would love to know if the windshield would work from a Comp style boat though...

I have a 84 comp I could give you dimensions on the windshield. Is you boat an open bow? Can you post some pics?

Ahhh.... Nevermind...
I have the open bow... So the comp windshield won't work.

I will get some pictures taken soon.

So far I have the boat buffed, the interior gutted, and the engine running.
I want to have it ready for the spring.

It looked terrible when I bought it >> looked like it had been used as a dumpster. But the floor was completely solid... bolts were tight on the motor and all the panels for the seats were there to make templates of. The motor and trans were complete and I was able to turn the crankshaft.

So when he said $800 I took it!
