It has the curved windshield so I assume it has composite stringer? How is the pro boss engine? General thought are appreciated. And what does TS6M stand for
thanks

ts6m stands for tournament ski 6 meters---6 meters translates to 19 ft 6 inches which is the required or accepted length for ski boats to be used in tournament situations.
Boat appears to be in very nice condition. Pro boss is a great engine!
Price is fair but I note he is open to offers so if you can get for 7500 to 8000 or so then good on you!
Subject to a mechanical inspection at your cost including a compression test! Worth the 200 or so it would cost--trust me on this!!!
good luck

That's in good shape. I have the pro boss in my labrisa and I was shocked at the performance I got out of it. If everything checks out that isn't a bad price for that comp. where is Chelmsford. I have a cottage near kingston.

if its been for sale forever have a marine surveyor check it out to ensure no unforeseen issues the average individual would not pick up on .
Again --worth the 200 to 300 dollars you would spend. Then if you wish to proceed make a lower offer than asking.

Seems a bit high for a Comp as they're generally in much lower demand than the larger models. It is composite though so if you're after a composite Comp it's worth a look at that price though I think that's near the top for a 90s Comp. That fancy distributorless ignition fails a lot if it's the one I'm thinking of. You'll be out maybe $500 for a marine distributor and associated ignition items at some point. No Perfect Pass either.

$9K is a high price for that. But it does look to be in good shape, its missing the large canister that is supposed to be "muffler" on the back of the engine, and the dash has been redone....

it still has the 4010 carb, thats good

The canister might not be missing, my 92 saltare does not have one either.

Did you buy the saltare new? We have had our Comp since 94, and the Canister was introduced from what I can gather in 1990 for all of their boats. And I have seen Supras past 93 still have them. But I also see many boats where people removed them. The sound is extremely different with and with out the canister, with out it your boat sounds just like every other 351W from 70's and 80's, with it, it has loud deep tone to it, easily heard 2 miles away, doesn't sounds anything like a 351W... its awesome...
