Thinking of replacing the standard shift knob on the throttle control. Anyone know the thread information? Metric or standard?
Looking at these - http://www.americanshifter.com/catalog/Shift-Knobs/Bank-Shot-Billiard-Shift-Knobs/ASCSN03019/Clear-8-Ball-Custom-Shift-Knob-Translucent-with-Metal-Flake

Thanks -

I'm not sure on the thread size, but I can tell you my experience with an 8-ball knob. Mine had one on it when I got it. The big ball and more weight made it hard to make small adjustments to the speed. I replaced it with something like this: http://shopping.rexmar.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=shiftknobs and the result is a look that I like, but more importantly, I can adjust the speed in small increments very easily.

I replaced mine with a solid stainless from skidim.......FYI it was about the same size as the original black plastic.
