I will post some pictures, when it arrives. Hopefully we can put some life into this board. I think it would be a great place for Supra owners to hang out.

I can't wait for the boat to arrive, which won't be until April. I guess that is a good thing, as I would be really tempted to take it out on days above 40.

My kids keep asking me when the boat is coming and I just keep telling them not soon enough.

Congrats LKA! Welcome to the board. Its usually pretty slow in wintertime and picks up again in spring when everyone is trying to get their boat ready for the season. Definitely post some pics when she comes in.

My wife hid my 2007 catalog from me, as she told me I spend way too much time looking at it. I told her wait until I am out sitting in the garage with it.

Too funny I go and sit in my boat and turn on some music to relax. At 35degrees.

LKA,

Congrats on the boat. I saw your post on my thread. Looks like we are both in the same situation. My wife just rolls her eyes when she sees me on Overton's or other sites looking for supplies and stuff.

LOL. I went to visit my "baby" at the storage unit just last week. Even, after 15 years, that boat still never seems to get old.

LKA, congrats on the new boat!!

Wakecrazy21v, how does your 22ssv wake compare to the 24 wake?

wakecrazy21v
02-08-2007, 03:52 PM
Marauder: From some of the riders I have had behind the 22 they have said that it is as large or larger then the 24. (I am running stock ballast 1450lbs) SC redesigned the 22's hull on the 07's. The insides of 22 are the same as the 24 just samller. They took 9"s out of the stern and 9" out of the midship. SC also added alargehttp://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/setserr/New%20boat/9-23-06034.jpgr rudder for much better handling. This wake is unweighted.

If you can somehow make the trip to Maryville TN, you'll love seeing your boat in the factory...I know I did! I posted my 24SSV pics, last year after returning from the factory tour.

Wakecrazy, That unweighted wake looks sweet. My buddy has an 05 24, his wake is crazy big. With the new hull on the 22, I was wondering if had more of ramp instead of the 24's steep wake. I just need to bite the bullet and buy a 22 or 24. If you could post a pic of your boat with the ballast full it would be much appreciated.

I think a road trip might be in order. Maybe I can turn it into a family vacation.

Supra_Fan can you tell me if there are some tourist type things around the area that I can do with the family, so I can call it a Family Vacation

Weighted 1450 wakeplate at 50% Plus diver and the boat dealer toby. We were going up river at thehttp://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/setserr/HPIM4187.jpg time. 5or 6 gals of gas and that is it .

I can't wait to see the wake my 24SSV produces. Not that I am able to ride that good, but the wake will look good. The Supra will will look great, the wake will look great, my wife will look great, but my riding will stink. I really purchased the boat for my kids. That's what I tell my wife whenever I buy a new toy.

LKA, when your boat gets delivered to you, tell your wife to take a snap shop of you. The smile on your face will be priceless(post the picture for all of us to see with you, the kids, and your new boat). Then you will put her on the lake and we will never hear from you again, because you will be wore out from having to much fun.. Thats why this website does not have the numerous posts like other sites on the web. Once you go Supra, nothing compares.

Maryville is about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, which are both hugh tourist traps. My wife and I stayed in the Pigeon Forge area when we went down to see the "birth" of our Supra. We mostly hit the Outlet Centers. Perhaps this link will help some, http://www.mypigeonforge.com/

Your dealer should be able to let you know what days your boat is going to be in the production line...good luck.

I had to go back and look at my pics again, my posting was titled "Almost Done" in the Pride & Joy section (in case your interested).

LKA_SUPRA24SSV, congratulations on the purchase.

The 'LKA' wouldn't happen to stand for 'Lake Anna', would it? As in Lake Anna, VA?

Hey wakecrazy21v, I saw your picture and thought that river looked like the one I've been on. Toby on commercial is our dealer too. We bought the 2004 gravity games new and we are out all the time in the summer. We go down by Newberg at Rogers landing and ride to Wilsonville.
hope to see this summer. Tese boats give the best wakes.

Yes it is the same Toby and river. We all ride in down town Portland. There are about ten to 15 boats that we all hang out together. I hope we can hook up on the water this year.

Dan,

What are you doing on the Supra Forum? I heard you got a new boat  Actually Pete is the only one who knows I have a new boat coming. We will have to get our kids together this summer and ride.

dan.smith
02-20-2007, 08:46 AM
LKA_SUPRA24SSV...OK, I have read all of your posts, and I'm still confused as to who you are...

- Is married & has kids (removes most DCWakers)
- Live in MD, ride in VA (removes Chase)
- Claim to suck at wakeboarding (removes Jimmy & Brooke)
- Plans on building a boat dock
- knows Pete (and admits to it)

The best I can come up with is River (Brian)?

And, yes, I did get a new boat...but my old one was a Supra. I really wanted to demo the new 22SSV back in Sept., but Rob @ The Boat Shop said he wasn't getting one in until maybe Nov, and even that was iffy. I got a really good deal on an MB & took it.

LKA_SUPRA24SSV
02-20-2007, 09:40 AM
Dan you guessed it. I ordered a 24SSV from Ray at Perfomance and I am hoping to have it in late March or April since I am on the warm side of the Lake. I was down there this weekend and and good bit of the cold side is iced over, so I think the warm side is actually the cool side now. Since Rob and Ray work together I will have no issues with Service.

I was just giving you a hard time about getting the new boat. I have not seen it in person, but from the pictures I have seen it looks great. I will be posting pictures of it when it arrives.

dan.smith

Hey, no problem! Once I realized you were a DCWaker, I figured you were just bustin my balls...I'm used to it :)

So, what color scheme did you go with? Did you get the 5.7 or the 8.1 (454)? How about the bimini? I really liked that new one, the one w/ all of the storage on top.

I also wanted the 24SSV, but there was no way I could get it into my slot in the Valet, which is why I was looking at the 22SSV. From what I've heard, that wake is one of the top wake in the business.

Definitely want to get the kids out this spring. I can't wait for the temps to get up there so I can get back out. This cold is killing me!

LKA_SUPRA24SSV

Dan,

I took a 24SSV and gave it every option possible that the Gravity Games boat has including the Z5 Bimini. I can't wait for my new toy to arrive. I ordered a white base with top and bottom black accents. I also ordered it with the white/stainless rub rail to break up the top stripe. I know it's not real flashy, but with my riding I don't need to stand out at all. The kids will be the only ones blasting the kids bop music over the tower speakers, because I will have it turned off as not show off my lack of skills. I was thinking of going with the 8.1, but decided to stick with the 340 with the wakeboard prop. It was real close in power and I had trouble justifying the cost difference, plus I need to save a little money for gas.

I also ordered it with the water strainer, flush kit and heater.

I'm not new to SC. But I am new to this site.
Here is my 21V and yes the date on the bottom of the pictures is correct. 60 degrees with a water temp. of 45. Gotta love riding in February in the Northwest.
We are in Portland Oregon and part of the large group that hangs out with Wakecrazy21V.

Come to Portland in August and join us for our Supra/Moomba Reunion.
