Hi guys, my swim platform padding (and also the padding up on the bow) of my 87 comp are totally degraded, and leave super annoying black goo on everything. Time to replace! I've been looking at hydro turf from amazon. A sheet with enough to do both the front and back is about 60 bucks. Is that as good a deal as I'm going to find, or is there a cheaper option that doesn't suck?

Thanks.

Have a link? Your other option would be dino grip from wakejunky. It is adhesive backed.

Try sea deck also. It's the stuff they put in the newer nautiques.

^^^ that's what I put on my platform. Awesome stuff and great company but a little on the expensive side. Now that probably because they cut to exact measurements rather than just buying a roll of other brands.

taco, this is what I was looking at:
http://www.amazon.com/Hydro-Turf-Ride-Mat-Material-SHT4OMDB/dp/B000MWQPJQ/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1396194712&sr=8-7&keywords=hydro+turf

I'll check into the other options posted. I'm trying not to spend a huge amount of money on this particular project.

I doubt your going to find anything cheaper that's decent for less than hydro turf... Except maybe a factory second hydro turf sheet.

I replaced my swim deck foam style pad 2 times. The pad breaks down here in Las Vegas pretty quick.
I had my sprayed with a bedliner material called gatorhyde. My deck was black to begin with and the
best part is it is slip resist , super durable and doesnt track black onto the boat
