Side panel webbing

Has anyone ever replaced the webbing for the storage compartments on the side panels in their boat? My elastic is badly worn and the webbing has become brittle and looks pretty crappy. I've seen some pics on here of some boats that appear to have the same issue. Just wondering if anyone has been able to address it!

Yup. Mine was a '99 SSV. I don't have it any more, but I still have the pictures. I took the side panels off and made a custom size plywood box that basically wedged into the space between the side panel and the inside of the hull. I carpeted the inside of the box and used aluminum diamondplate as the back of the box. I also wired in an LED strip at the top of the diamondplate... Looks really cool at night.
