Finally getting around to putting new heads on my 87 TS6m. Decided to upgrade to GT40P's. Now before I install them I was wondering if I should go ahead and get a Edlebrock Performer intake or just use the stock intake. I have a new Edlebrock 750 carb. currently installed. No other mods to the engine. Just looking for the best balance of power and economy. I plan to run 87 octane and we mostly ski/tube/wakeboard and rarely see more than 35mph/3500rpm. Next mod will be a Acme 541. Any suggestions?

I did the what you are thinking and was disapointed with how much $$$ I spent for a small amount of power. I advise you to spend the $$$ on crome a PP & a prop.

Thanks for the reply. I have to replace a head as one of mine is cracked from the previous owner not winterizing correctly. I'm not sure what "crome a PP" is. If there isn't any thing to gain from an intake I will just bolt up the new heads and let it rip. I just wanted to take advantage of having the top end off.
