Importing from the U.S to Canada.

Hey Guys & Gals,

I've been looking at the pricing of used Supra's online, and I'm amazed at the pricing of some of the boats compared to Canadian pricing. Does anyone have any experience as to what is involved in brining a boat to Canada from the States? What kind of red tape, and tax implication is there? Would it be worth it?

A friend of mine got nailed at the border bringing an 87 Mastercraft over ... $6700 USD on Ebay ... got nailed with 25% Duty + 6% GST ... add the cost of getting caught in ... still a little cheaper if you can find a deal, but pick it up yourself, having it shipped will hurt your @sshole!
