I have a 24ssv, the previous owner replaced the stock ballast pump with a larger faster one. Problem is every few minutes it kicks the breaker, I give it a minute and reset it and it continues to pump. I feel like the problem is that the stock breaker is too small. Can I swap it out with a higher amp breaker?
Also I broke my bow bi color light today, where can I order a new one on line?

You probably do need a higher amperage breaker, but you do not want to exceed the current capacity of the wiring with a large breaker. at this point, the wiring becomes the weak link and it melt, instead of the breaker popping. There can also be an issue with the pump. Excessive current draw, and the breaker is actually doing its job.

What amperage is the breaker and what pump is in there now?
