Floor LIghts

Has anyone replaced the floor lights -small courtesy lights by your feet? I'm thinking about adding some blue LEDs. When I pulled of the chrome 1/2 dome, the ones on my boat appeared to be a sealed unit. I was thinking i could replace the bulbs.

Plus the plastic broke when I unscrewed this one.

The boat is a 2007 Supra SSV.

Try oznium.com for good LEDs for marine use. Search my name and interior lights and you'll see my thread on them.

I would advise against the blue for primary floor lighting. I did that at first and every bug from 3 counties came to my boat. I knew they would be bad for night vision, but wow they were really bad. Switched to red and have loved them. I use blue for accent and small scale lighting now.

Livery true about the blue lights. Put some around my dock and holy crap I can't sit down there after the sun goes down but it looks sick 14413

Running blue in mine as well, and ready to replace with red!
