PROP!!!!! I know it has been asked but way to many results popped up in the search.

Finally dropped some weight in my 2002 Launch SSV, but the boat doesn't want plane out anymore and can't go above 9MPH. I put a pair of 540's in the rear lockers at a 6000ft elevation. I'm assuming I need a new prop and wakemakers.com is pointing me to the ACME 1617. I'm a cheap ass and I was hoping someone could point me in a cheaper direction : )

I'm also trying to learn how to wakesurf. Anyone have some good weight setups once I get the new prop? I bought the Ronix Parks Carbon Thruster wakesurf board and it looks amazing. We couldn't get wireless with 500 lbs on the passenger side at 10 mph while making a slow left turn.

Thanks for any help!

the acme 1617 should be a 14x13.75 if i'm correct. Just look for something with the similar specs on ebay, i found a 13.75x14.5 that does ok at my 8250 elevation. It's not perfect but it was half the cost. And it does real well at lake powell.
For your surfing add bow weight for your port side wave(regular foot). if it's like my boat, starboard(goofy foot) side on mine forms naturally so just weight in the back corner.

Call the guys at OJ or ACME up and have a chat. They know their stuff, and will point you to the correct prop. Then go price shopping.
