Water Temp

I just bought my 1st boat but I don't get it for a 1&1/2 weeks. What water temperature is comfortable for a wetsuit and then without a wetsuit? I'm not talking about you polar bear junkies, but a regular joe who can't wait to wakeboard.
I think Lake Travis (TX) is about 60-65 degrees right now.

I need low 70's to feel comfortable without a suit, but I have seen many guys brave much colder than that.

We have been skiing in a 3/2 wet suits for water temps into the low 50s up to mid 60s and air temps are in the 60s. We usually stop wearing suits when the water temps hit the high 60s with air temps in the 80s.

glad to see someone from Austin. Was in Lake Austin second wk of march with suit. Wasn't cold at all. Water temp then was 61*. Travis is up to 64* today. I'll be wearing protection "till it gets to the 70s - I'm a big baby.
