Found a great looking Salty on the ole C-list. It looks super clean. Wondering if the price is good & if these boats are still wood stringers? We have a '86 Comp that needs new stringers & not sure if I would be ready to for another one. Not sure I buy the hours they have listed in the ad, still looks like a nice boat. Let me know what you guys think.

Something is fishy with that particular boat. It was recently sold and is already for sale again within a matter of a month or two.

Yeah here is another thread on it, and it has a link to yet a third thread.

Probably found more than just a soft spot in the floor...

Like the hours where turned back and it was sitting outside for years. I bet the upholstery was redone to mask the stringer issues.

The floor is rotten, the hours are off, and something weird has caused the PO to switch the observer's seat to forward facing.

I love the pink boat, but that one has something weird in it's history. I would love to see this one restored back to original, but it's going to take someone committed, and a serious price drop. The guy that owns it now got taken for a ride by the seller. Now he has to try and recoup the costs. Tough spot.

Probably gonna pass & redirect my free time back into my comp thats been sitting for a year or so. Would be a great boat but I already have one in need of a cap off
