Any Saltare owners, this is an excellent replacement for the double seat captains chair in our boats. I did it on mine and it freed up a lot of space. I had my old comp seat recovered to match and it looks great and is very nice.

Go to Westmarine or other marine supply and replace the stock base with one that swivels. Cut to your height and you have a custom swivel captain's helm. Did that to my Comp. Sits higher, swivels and removable to access storage under bow.
