Supra decals and reg numbers

I'm trying to gauge the interest on possibly trying to set up something with a company to reproduce the supra lettering on the boats. A lot of us have installed the newer logo and just had our local vinyl guy cut them. I have noticed with mine that's it's not as good as I would like. So I found a few companies that can make vinyl lettering and can use some sort of epoxy over them to make them stand out. Also they will hold up way better then even the dipped ones. Is anyone is interested if we can get some sort of deal on them. Waterski sells oem billet ones that are crazy expensive. Again the ones I found are vinyl. I'm trying to get someone to make them so they are chrome letters with black behind them so they look as close as possible to the real ones. 14797 so this is what I'm talking about just not the correct colors but you can at least get an idea of what I'm talking about. These are made by domed numbers. A lot of the guys from mastercraft and nautique sites are using them to reproduce their logos.

I would possibly be interested if we could get a good price. I too have gotten a buddy to vinyl cut some replicas. They are ok and will do for now but ideally like to have the raised letters. However I cant see spending what they want for the "real" ones.

For both sides and transom decals its just shy of $700 thats ridiculous. I actually stumbled across the domed letters company in my search for decals but never thought to contact them about possibly making the supra decals... just assumed they would stick to what they do

I have been emailing them for two days now. They are heading over to the local supra dealer to take some measurements. I never thought about doing the transom. Maybe I'll check into getting labrisa on the transom.

210 is for just the two supra logos

Going to pass on that other site. It would eat my brain to get something that's pretty close. If I'm going to the hassle of removing the old logos then I want exactly plus this guy will make them anyway I want them. Lastly these guys specialize in boats. Thanks though

I really like some of these letters and have been thinking of going for it. The thing I'm afraid of is that my hull is a dark color and I have to buff it good every year or the oxidation is very obvious. It seems like those beautiful letters would make the buff job lots more complicated? Any one have issues with it?

I thought about that already. I ordered one of those mini buffers to go around the lettering. Once a year isn't bad I'm so ANal I polish every two weeks. Couldn't imagine what I would do if I didn't have a lift

Just the side letters for now. I want to see how it looks with the current reg numbers. Don't want it to be too busy. I want tondo the transom but haven't figured out the spacing issue yet due to the transom light. i didn't see it up yet either. I emailed them directly. They can do any of them. Think this is the one you're talking about. 14857 that's the one my boat originally had on the sides towards the back. I was going back and forth with which logo to get. I like them better in the center. I just got the supra without the swoosh thing. Wanted to keep it as simple as possible. I went with chrome letters and a black outline. I really liked the mastercraft logo so I copied that just with the supra font. Thought the outline would make it pop a little more.

14969Thanks. That's exactly where I'm installing mine. Going to start under the windshield and work back. The white ones that are in this pic are off and I marked where those where. Picking the new decals up at FedEx in the morning. I'll take a pic when I get them and post it. If I can't get a decent signal at the cottage I'll post the decals on the boat also.

What size are the side decals? Thinking about ordering a set, but don't know the size as there were none on the boat when I got them.

I can't remember but they are the same size as the oem decals. If you call Them they will know. for some reason I want to say 59" long.

5.76"x59.186. THe ones on eBay are for the transom. Domed numbers are the way to go. I'm very happy with mine. If you order make sure you talk to Tim and you tell him you got his info from this forum.
