I've searched and searched and can't find out what brass key goes to my 2002 Supra SSV Launch. The sheared in half key I pulled out measures about 1 1/2 inches long and close to a quarter inch wide and quater inch tall when I put the two pieces together. Everywhere I go seems to be 2 1-8 inches long. Am I supposed to cut it shorter? Anyone have a direct link to the current part? Thanks ahead for any help!

It's definitely 1/4" key stock, and yes you'll probably have to just cut a new piece to length. Here's a link: http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=KEYBR25X2 and in the description it even says, "you may have to cut to length..."

It's also not a "marine" part necessarily. Here's a link to a whole FOOT of it for almost the same price: http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/details/0952919 or here: http://www.grainger.com/category/key-stock/key-stock/fasteners/ecatalog/N-8kmZ1z0o18j

Thanks for the help! Just out in the order.

Any thoughts on the best way to cut the key?

Hacksaw or dremel, anything will do. You should take a file to all the edges and round them over a wee bit.
