Hi all, I will become the proud new owner of a 2006 Launch 24 SSV next week and I have a quick question for the group. I need the empty weight for the BoatMate trailer that came with the boat. For some reason my finance company needs this info and it's not on the registration that the previous owner has. Does anyone happen to have the info handy?

Thanks so much! I am excited about joining the Supra community!!

I have to get mine weighed. I will have it next week. Have to leave the boat at a dock and haul the trailer in to be weighed so I can get plates for it. Won't know until Monday or Tuesday next week.

You could probably contact boatmate and they could tell you. They have great customer service.

Thanks to both of you for the replies! Gogger, I'll be curious what the number is when you get it. I ended up just subtracting the weight of the boat from what Supra says is the weight of the boat and trailer. The finance company was fine with that.

If I had to guess, I would say 1200 lbs....

I'd say closer to 1500 since its a tandem, but probably somewhere between there.

I had to do this with my trailer to get it registered in WA state. My trailer is an SMP and I was able to finally get in touch with someone there and they gave me a weight estimate and the DOL accepted that. I can't remember it off the top of my head.

I did weigh my boat with trailer and I was shocked at how much it weighed.

My 2009 Supra Owners Manual specifies the boat and trailer weight of the 24SSV with a tandem trailer to be 5050lbs with the boat only at 3950lbs............meaning that the trailer weight is 1100lbs.

I'm really curious of the weight. My cottage is on an island and I store my boats on it. I had six guys up last spring when I decided to bring it over and the six of us barely managed to get it up enough to get floats under it. I was shocked by how heavy it was.
