Switching from supra traps to flaps

I currently have supra-traps. I was thinking about switching to the flap. What are the pros and cons of this? Also how much work is involved with the existing pipes? Where do I get a new style flange that will seal the pipe and accept the new flap?

It is simple, just cut the stainless tube down to accept a length of rubber exhaust hose and double hose clamp each end.
