Hello guys, been trolling on here for a long time. Picked up my first inboard about a month ago. Been behind several MC's and grew up with an old stars and stripes. I fell in love with Supra back in December of 2003 when I saw the 2004 Supra GG SSV. Took me 10 years but here is my 03 SSV. Found this one on the internet, called, they still had it, called my wife and told her to pack up, 90 min later started 5.5hr drive and bought the boat the next day.

I went ahead and had them put 4 new tires on and a perfect pass the next week. When I drove back down to TX to take possession of the boat we took it for a quick spin so they could show me how the PP works. Not 10 seconds after being in the water we got magic smoke from under the dash but everything worked with the exception of the speedo. The tech didn't cap off the wires from where he had to remove the old speedo to install the PP, they were touching themselves and shorted out. Dealer agreed to let me take the boat 5.5 hrs north and pay my local dealership to fix what they messed up.

I got back from our annual house boat trip in Dale Hollow TN. Boat ran flawlessly, put 30+ hrs on it in less than 5 days. I love this boat and this new thing surfing, defiantly has the wife and I hooked. I doubt if the wife will ever pick up a wakeboard again, me on the other hand, haven't given up quite yet. I still have the stock bags and i brought about 400lbs of lead to move around, but wasn't quite enough for me to go wireless with our LF custom. I need a bigger board and more weight or fab me up a surfgate.

Thanks everyone for all the help you have giving me already and all the help I'm going to need in the future.

Nice pickup, welcome to the family! Do you ride anywhere else outside of little rock? We generally stay around the memphis area if you are ever around and want to join us.

Nice boat.. Enjoy her! Replace those stock bags with 750's, and put your stock ones around the boat. This was just tonight with 2 people in the boat, the 750 full in the corner locker, 2 400lb bags on the rear seat/floor. Surf for days on this thing, and my boats only 20ft long!

Buy yourself some semi truck mud flaps and hang them all the way across the back to protect the hull from rocks.

THANKS! It has been my money pit for the 8 years or so, will never be finished but has taken a back seat for the boat. I just picked up the boat a month or so ago, not really sure where to ride, I want to check out lake Ouachita and greers ferry lake, but for now we are playing in the Arkansas river. Thanks for the offer, same goes here! I'm always down for meeting some good people.

Thanks, i do plan on swapping them out for the 750's and getting the GG front sac, i have over 3K lbs of lead(for my other hobby) that i could use, but hate the idea of it not being "neutral buoyant". I'm going to resist the urge to see what it will do... beautiful wave, gives me hope!

I've seen your allegro around here, beautifull boat, never knew supra made a boat like that! good luck with the boat. hope you got the vapor loc figured out.

Thats what is on it now, i think your right about going all the way across. Love your surfgate write up, i think that is going to be my winter project. just have to figure out what that plastic is called and where to get it.
