Anyone know what's different between 325 and 340hp 5.7L motor?

Curious as to what was different from these two motors. Both are 5.7L. Did they adjust timing or use different intakes/heads, or what? 15hp isn't much, but the cost difference back then was pretty large. Anyone know for sure what the difference was?

Its basically the inlet manifold and the position of the throttle body. Probably a bit of mapping thrown in as well.

Haha, thanks. Was wondering if it was something that's easy to do as an upgrade. I've already re-propped so I don't really need to, but was just curious.

Anybody know how to tell them apart? I'm not sure which is in my 2008 Launch 22SSV. I assume the 340, but there's nothing on engine that says it. It has tons of power even when heavily weighted, that's my only justification for the assumption.

320/325 will have the throttle body in the centre of the inlet manifold, 340 will have a throttle body near the remote oil filter.

You have a 340 in the back of that 24 by the looks of it.
