how do I know if I have the prototype it has the 5.0 liter Cleveland engine and has burgundy trim thanks also a 1984

There is only one Proto type Allegro. You don't have it. The differences are that it came with a 440 Chrysler engine. There was no back seat, no swim platform. The engine cover was differnt. The boat rails didn't come all the way back to the vents on the side of the boat. Also the bottom of the hull was black.

As far as I know no Supra ever came with a 5.0l Ford. They came with the 351 which is a 5.8l

There's no way that's the original motor. First off there is no American made 302c. It was only made for foreign use and only for a few years. Next the 351c was mainly used as a car motor. Lastly it was only made till the mid 70s. Do you have any idea what you have. More then likely you have a 5.8 marinized by pcm
